30 kW – 100 kW · Unattended Remote Sites with 1000L Extended Fuel Base Tanks
Diesel Generators for Telecom Towers & Remote Sites
A tower site has no one watching it. The set has to start on its own, run for days on the base tank, report its own fuel and battery by telemetry, and resist being broken into on a remote hill. We build these as compact silent units with a tamper-resistant canopy and an optional IoT module that pushes fuel level, oil pressure and battery voltage to your network operations centre.
Because a refuelling run to a far site is expensive, we size the integrated base tank for seven to fourteen days of autonomy at the actual load, not the nameplate. Give us the site load, the distance to the nearest fuel run, and whether the grid is reliable, and we will set the tank and the monitoring to cut the number of truck rolls.
What this duty asks of the set
These are the three points we check first when a telecom towers & microgrid repeaters enquiry reaches us. They decide the rating, the cooling package and the control hardware long before price enters the conversation.
01
4G / IoT cloud monitoring module for real-time fuel, oil pressure and battery status.
02
Up to 7–14 days continuous autonomy on integrated base fuel tanks.
03
Tamper-resistant anti-theft silent canopy locks for remote hilltop deployments.
Configurations we usually quote for this duty: TFW-30, TFW-50, TFW-60, TFW-80.
Recommended generator sets
Catalogue models that carry this duty run from 30 kW to 80 kW prime. Outside that band we build to the same specification on request — send the load and the site conditions and an engineer will size it. Each card opens the full datasheet, fuel curve and dimensions.
TFW-30
30 kW / 37.5 kVA
Engine standby 33 kW · 7 L/h at 100% load
TFW-50
50 kW / 62.5 kVA
Engine standby 66 kW · 13 L/h at 100% load
TFW-60
60 kW / 75 kVA
Engine standby 66 kW · 14 L/h at 100% load

Power ratings follow ISO 8528-1:2018 (Prime PRP / Standby ESP), and the fuel figures are stated at ISO 3046-1:2002 standard reference conditions. Both are confirmed unit by unit on our load bank, and the test record ships with the set. Standby figures are the engine's factory standby rating from the model spectrum table — never a computed 110% of the rated output. Noise figures are typical open-type reference values, not a guaranteed sound-power level.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long can the set run without refuelling?▼
It depends on load and tank size, but a compact set on an extended base tank typically gives seven to fourteen days at the actual site load. We size the tank against your real consumption rather than the rating, so the autonomy figure matches the duty you actually run.
Can I monitor fuel and battery remotely?▼
Yes. An optional IoT module reports fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage and running hours to a cloud dashboard, so your operations centre sees a low-fuel or no-charge alarm before the site goes dark. Tell us the protocol you use and we will fit the matching controller.
Are the canopies secure for unattended sites?▼
Our remote-site canopies use tamper-resistant locks and concealed fixings, and the fuel and battery compartments can be fitted with anti-theft protection. For exposed hilltop sites we also offer anti-corrosion paint and a tropical radiator as standard equipment.
