150 kW / 187.5 kVA Diesel Generator

The 150 kW diesel generator set delivers 187.5 kVA prime power (227.5 kVA engine standby rating) on 50 or 60 Hz, powered by the Yuchai YC6A245L-D21 engine and configured for textile plants, high-rise commercial buildings, rubber factories in Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and across Southeast Asia.

The 150 kW class set we ship most often into ASEAN, so spares are easy to source in-country. Injection system and emission tier are declared per the engine nameplate.

Power ratings follow ISO 8528-1:2018 (Prime PRP / Standby ESP), and the fuel figures are stated at ISO 3046-1:2002 standard reference conditions. Both are confirmed unit by unit on our load bank, and the test record ships with the set. Standby figures are the engine's factory standby rating from the model spectrum table — never a computed 110% of the rated output. Noise figures are typical open-type reference values, not a guaranteed sound-power level.

All specifications subject to confirmation per order. Spectrum table is the internal reference; final data per technical agreement.

Estimated Fuel Consumption

Fuel consumption varies with load, ambient temperature, fuel quality and test conditions. Figures below are estimates at 50 Hz / 400V under standard conditions; do not read them across as 60 Hz delivery data, which is confirmed per order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Background reading: how load changes liters per hour and choosing 50Hz vs 60Hz for your grid.

How much fuel does a 150 kW generator use?▼

At 100% load the 150 kW set consumes about 36 L/h (27.7 L/h at 75%, 19.4 L/h at 50%). Actual consumption depends on load profile, ambient conditions and fuel quality.

Is the 150 kW set prime or standby rated?▼

The set is rated 150 kW prime / 187.5 kVA, and the Yuchai YC6A245L-D21 engine it ships with is rated 165 kW prime / 182 kW standby in the factory model spectrum table. Prime rating suits continuous or variable load; the standby figure is the engine's factory standby rating, not a computed 110% of rated output. Confirm the duty with your engineer before ordering.

What voltage and frequency can it run at?▼

400/230V 50Hz / 220V 60Hz, selectable 50 or 60 Hz. The alternator is calibrated per order; confirm your local grid configuration. Where a model is quoted at 60 Hz, the 60 Hz rating is confirmed on the order.

Can this generator be supplied for Vietnam?▼

This model is actively supplied to Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore. Import duties and documentation depend on the destination country, HS code and applicable trade agreements (for example ACFTA Form E eligibility). Confirm requirements before shipment.

What options are available (open, silent, container)?▼

Open skid, silent canopy, containerized and trailer configurations are available on request. Options affect noise level, dimensions, weight and price.
