The ST-15 is a 15 kW / 18.75 kVA single-phase 2-wire alternator from Zhiqiang's ST series. It runs at 230 V / 50 Hz with B-class insulation and IP21 protection, and is factory-matched to Yuchai diesel engines for genset applications.
We wind the stator and rotor of every ST machine in our own workshop in Luchuan, so the insulation class, the copper fill and the voltage regulation are set by us rather than bought in with a third-party alternator. Voltage is held to ±5% on this frame, and the IP21 enclosure keeps dust and water spray away from the windings on humid, coastal sites.
